Straight answers on ordering, pricing, accounts, research use and delivery at Peptides Wales. 19 questions are answered below. If yours is not here, ask us and one of us will answer it. Nothing here describes how to use a material, and nothing here is medical, veterinary or legal advice.

Not yet. Online checkout is not open, so there is no basket and nothing on this site takes a payment.
Ordering runs through us directly in the meantime. Tell us what you need and we will come back with price and availability. In practice that means you get an answer from a person rather than a form response. Supply is intended for professional organisations working in research rather than for the general public.
We have not published a price list. What something costs depends on the line, the quantity and what you need alongside it, so we quote against a specific request rather than post a figure that would only be right some of the time.
Ask and you will get a straight answer on price and availability before you commit to anything. Asking costs nothing and creates no obligation.
Use the enquiry form on the catalogue entry you are interested in, or the general contact form. Tell us the line, the quantity you have in mind, and what you need to know about it.
If you are not certain which entry fits, describe the work and we will point you at the right one. We would rather answer three questions up front than have you order the wrong thing.
We do. Enquiries are answered by the people who run the business — there is no call centre, no script and no deflection. If we do not know something, we will tell you that rather than improvise.
The contact page carries the current enquiry routes and published contact details. Where a detail is not yet published, the page says so rather than showing a placeholder as though it were real.

Specifications are available on request. Tell us the line you are looking at and what you need to know, and we will send you what we hold on it.
Where we do not hold something, we will say so. An honest gap is more useful to you than an answer that looks complete and is not.
Yes. Ask before you order — that is exactly what the enquiry route is for, and nothing about asking obliges you to buy.
If a specification would not tell you what you actually need to know, say what the work requires and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet it.
Because we would rather answer a specific question from a specific person than publish a file and hope it lands with the right reader. Information is sent in response to a direct enquiry.
Nothing is presented on this site as available that we cannot actually supply. If we do not hold something, the honest answer is that we do not hold it.

Accounts are intended for professional organisations engaged in research — research institutions, university departments and commercial laboratories, for example — where the organisation itself can be verified.
Applications from private individuals are not accepted. That is a supply position rather than a judgement about the applicant: the range is offered for qualified research use, and the process is built around verifying an organisation rather than a person.
Every application is read and assessed by one of us. There is no instant approval, no automated decision and no self-service route around the review.
We have not published a turnaround time, because we do not yet have one we could stand behind. You will hear from us once the review is done, and we will publish a timescale here when we can state it accurately.
In broad terms: the legal name of your organisation and its registration details, a contact reachable on an organisational address, a description of the research context the materials are for, and acknowledgement of the research-use position.
We may come back and ask for more where an application cannot be verified from what has been supplied. Applications may also be declined or held without a detailed explanation being given.
No. The account area is a placeholder that shows the layout an account will have. It is not a real sign-in, it is not secure, and it should not be treated as either.
Please do not enter a password there — not one you use elsewhere, and not any other credential. When a live account system exists, we will say so plainly rather than leave you to work it out.

For qualified research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
That statement sits on every catalogue entry, on the account application and in the research-use policy. It is not a disclaimer bolted onto consumer supply — it describes what the range is for.
No. We supply professional organisations, and the account process is built around verifying an organisation rather than an individual buyer.
Enquiries from private individuals cannot be taken through to supply, and we cannot offer any guidance on personal use in response to them.
No. Selection advice and experimental design sit outside what we can offer, and we give no guidance on use in humans or animals under any circumstances.
What we can do is tell you plainly what we hold on a given line, so that a qualified researcher can judge it against their own requirements and their own institutional review.
We claim none. Where a claim of that kind is not supported by evidence we hold, we do not display it at all rather than display it with a caveat attached.
We would rather be a new business that says so than one that borrows credibility it has not earned. Trust in this industry is accumulated one order at a time, and that is how we intend to earn it.
Requests relating to personal data — access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection — should be sent to the data protection contact published in the privacy policy. Requests are logged and acknowledged, and the reply confirms what has been done.
The privacy policy sets out what the enquiry and application forms collect, why it is held and how long it is kept. Marketing consent is always separate from any other agreement, is never pre-ticked, and can be withdrawn without affecting an enquiry or an application.

We have not published delivery timeframes or charges, because we do not yet have figures we could stand behind. An estimate we might miss is worse to you than an honest gap.
Every order is put together and checked by one of us, and packaged so that it arrives in the condition it left in. Delivery arrangements for a specific order are confirmed in writing alongside the price. We have not published a dispatch or delivery time, because carrier arrangements have not been settled and we would rather say nothing than state a time we might miss.
The delivery and returns page records what has and has not yet been agreed. Returns terms are among the things still to be settled, so ask us before you order if that matters to you and we will tell you where it stands.
If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us as soon as you notice and we will deal with it directly. Photographs of the packaging and the contents as they arrived help, because condition on arrival cannot be reconstructed after the fact.
International supply is looked at case by case and cannot be confirmed in advance. Requirements vary by destination and by material, and some destinations may not be possible at all.
Mention the destination country when you first get in touch so it can be considered before we quote. We have not published a destination list, and we will not until we can state one accurately.
Questions come to the two of us, not to a call centre. If we do not know the answer we will say so rather than improvise. We cannot answer questions about use in humans or animals.
For qualified research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
