Research use policy.

Access is intended for organisations carrying out research, analytical or educational work, where the person requesting access is doing so in the course of their role and the organisation is accountable for how the material is used.

Applying for access requires you to confirm that:

• you are applying on behalf of an organisation, not as an individual consumer;
• you are authorised by that organisation to make the request and to give the attestation below;
• the organisation has the facilities, competence and governance appropriate to the work it describes;
• you have described the intended use accurately and will tell us if it changes.

Every application is reviewed by a person. Approval is never automatic, and we may decline an application without giving reasons.

Before access is granted, you are asked to attest — in a separate, unticked declaration that is never bundled with anything else — that:

• the materials will be used for qualified research use only, and not for human or veterinary use;
• the materials will not be administered to any person or animal, by you or by anyone else;
• the materials will not be resupplied, resold or otherwise made available to consumers or to the general public;
• your organisation is responsible for identifying and meeting every legal and regulatory requirement that applies to it, in its own jurisdiction, for the work it intends to carry out.

Giving false information in an attestation is a breach of the website terms and grounds for immediate withdrawal of access.

The following are prohibited without exception.

• Human use. Administration to, or consumption by, any person — including yourself — in any form and for any reason.
• Veterinary use. Administration to any animal, including companion animals and livestock.
• Resupply to consumers. Selling, repackaging, gifting or otherwise passing material to members of the public, or to anyone who has not been through an equivalent professional-user assessment.
• Use in food, drink, cosmetics or supplements. Incorporation into anything intended for consumption or application to the body.
• Sporting use. Any use connected with athletic or competitive performance.
• Misrepresentation. Presenting material obtained through us as a medicine, a treatment, a licensed product, or as approved by any authority.

We do not publish and will not supply guidance on dosage, administration, preparation for administration, cycles, combinations, protocols, or expected physiological effects. We make no claim about health, disease, body composition, recovery, hormones, ageing or performance.

Requests for that information are declined, and a request of that kind is treated as a signal that the intended use falls outside this policy.

A research-use statement describes an intended use. It does not change what a material is, and it does not by itself make a supply lawful. It is not a defence to a regulatory requirement, and we do not present it as one.

Your organisation remains responsible for determining and meeting every obligation that applies to it — including any authorisation, licence, notification, record-keeping, handling, storage, transport and disposal requirement in its own jurisdiction. We cannot make that assessment for you and do not purport to.

Nothing on this website is a statement that any material is approved, licensed, certified or suitable for a particular purpose, and nothing on this website is a statement that this company or this site is legally compliant.

We may suspend or withdraw access at any time, including where an attestation appears to be inaccurate, where a request is inconsistent with the stated research purpose, where information suggests material may be intended for a prohibited use, or where we are simply not satisfied that supply would be appropriate.

We do not have to give reasons, and a decision to decline or withdraw access is not a statement about you or your organisation beyond that decision itself.
